Most of the colleges have converted their seats of two-year diploma courses into three years master seats via govt. order. Most of the colleges have stopped offering these diploma courses now, even if available, in my knowledge, there are only 3 to 5 colleges (both government & private included) who are offering this course.

Admission procedures for MD or MS

There are a few steps to get direct admission through the management quota for MD/MS. I will list and explain the procedures below:


Qualify for the NEET entrance exam.

Register for Online Counseling.

Document Verification( Different state, Different set of rules)

Online Counseling Round 1.

Online Counseling Round 2.

MOP-UP Round.

Offline Mop Up

Download allotment letter (Done by the college where you get selected)

Now let me explain the process involved after you have a qualified NEET-PG entrance exam. The first step is that you must register for the counselling. You can register for All India 50% Counseling through MCC or the state counselling conducted by respective state counselling authorities. There will be a registration fee of around Rs.1000 to Rs.2500 depending on the state.
